Wim Koornneef passed away April 9th, 2026 He was one of the true VR panorama pioneers, most noticeable for inventing single lens stereoscopic panoramas.
He will be missed.
Wherever I go I always wear a hat to prevent the last 333 hairs I have on my head are blowing away in the wind ;-)
The image above is in fact my business logo, it shows the silhouet of a man with a hat.
I shot the image for the logo in the winter of 1999-2000 on the beach of Ouddorp. Because I always wear a hat my nickname "De Man Met De Hoed" (The Man With The Hat) or in short "dmmdh" (tmwth) is become my business name since the year 2000.
