In 1985 I was given a book of Panoramic Photos of Scotland "Scottish Symphony" by Michael Ruetz. I had often played with "throw away" panoramic cameras but this book really impressed me (and still does) and forced me to throw away these cheap panoramic cameras and experiment further. Years later my father sent me a newspaper cutting on 360 degree panoramas (Quicktime) knowing that I would definately be interested. That was in 1998................ and I still get a thrill from it.
