This area has never seen such intense, prolonged dry heat. Hundreds of homes and heritage buildings, schools and churches were lost this summer. Are we too late to save our planet? Drought, heat, fire, rain and floods are more frequent and more intense than anytime in recorded history. "Why" can we not, as a world, see and act as one to deal with the issue of climate change now? The evidence is all around us!
