CCD camera upgrade

This is my work. The scene is at the National Observatory in Mérida, Venezuela. Right now (june 2014) we are working for the upgrade of the main CCD camera at the Schmidt Telescope. We are changing the old CCD sensors for a new state of the art devices designed and building by E2V. Each new CCD has a cost over 60000 dollars, and the final array will have 16 of them. Here I'm testing a prototype device (for electronic test) with the vacuum chamber open. In a regular work the temperature at the cold fingers are below -60° celsius.
