Maroon Bells - Snowmass Wilderness

This wilderness area is nestled within the White River National Forest The forest here features a mix of aspen groves, flowered meadows, and dark forests of spruce and fir trees.
As pictured, the Maroon Bells are the distant steeply angled and parallel jagged peaks seen at the end of the valley to the southwest. The peaks here in the treeline aspen forest of the Snowmass Wilderness are very interesting themselves, and I thought at first they may be the Bells. This forest at the top of the world lies in a glacial valley that stretches a hundred miles through the rockies.
Coordinates of the Maroon Bells themselves is 39° 4′ 15″ N, 106° 59′ 20″ W at an elevation of 14,164ft, the 27th highest Fourteener in Colorado with the parent peak being Maroon Peak. The Maroon Bells are a few miles away from Maroon Lake, the Snowmass Wilderness Portal, where the pano was taken.
