I was impressed by this town. It is as small as my hometown (Essen/Germany) but it has a lot more to offer. There is a wide variety of different culures, showing in the citizens, the architecture and the whole "flair".
The city is changing its face very quickly, esp. aroud the Den Haag Central Station, but (or because) there still is a huge number of bicycles on the streets.
I noticed this special combination of old and new a lot during my different visits in The Netherlands, but it was never so obvious than it was in Den Haag.
And so it is no surprise, that one can even find a little fake-Italy there ;-) .
