It's been 3 years, 8 months and 23 days since I stood on this very spot to shoot my previous panorama (Between Performances) on the theme of "Performing Arts". I decided to re-visiting this location to better show the bridge in its surroundings, as previously it was a more artistic shot.

In the normal light of day this looks like any other modern foot / cycle bridge crossing a dual carriageway, but with the inclusion of the continuous floor lighting set against a jet black sky and low shooting position turned the view into something far more artistic.

The bridge itself forms part of the improvement works to the route that bypasses Worcester direct to the M5 motorway. Since the original panorama was, further work has been completed meaning that the journey from here is now all dual carriageway. With this road getting busier and busier the need for this foot / cycle bridge is vital, now if they only the lighting could be fix to what it originally was!

Equipment

Taken with a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G fisheye lens. Mounted on a Nodal Ninja 5 panorama head and R-D16 rotator atop a Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod. Shots taken at 6 positions 60° apart, tilted 15° down, and another shot taken looking straight up. Raw files then processed in darktable v4.6.1 before being stitched together using PTGui 10.0.19 Pro and converted using Pano2VR 6.1.15 pro.
