Why do we climb mountains? When asked about Everest, George Mallory replied, “Because it's there.”
I finally went there to take panoramic photos. This one was taken in the Alps, in France, Écrins National Park.
Climate change: at the end of the last century, the glacier extended 300 meters lower.
