Kisimul Castle is the ancient seat of the Clan Macneil, but despite its imposing position (built in the 15C) it was abandoned and in ruins, like clan chief Macneil himself, by the 19th century,

In the 20 century, Clan chief Robert Lister Macneil brought back the castle from oblivion. Purchasing it in 1937 and renovating it until his death in 1970.

In 2000 the Clan Macneil placed the buildings in the care of "Historic Scotland", a state run organisation dedicated to preserving national heritage, to maintain this castle and it's heritage for the Macneils and the nation.

4 GoPro HERO3+ cameras, with a wooden camera cradle/rig to hold the cameras in exactly the correct position is triggered by 4
[url="http://www.gentles.ltd.uk/"]custom designed[/url] camera
syncronisers. Suspended below a Dan Leigh Cruiser kite with 8ft/2.5m span.

This technique produces two hemispheres, and a different workflow in PTGui from the classic ground pano technique. This results in extra effort BUT impossible angles!
