Laying on the stage is a scenic painting from around 1900. At the moment photos are being taken of the old scenery for documentation purposes, the documentary camera is mounted up high, directly below the ceiling. Afterwards they will be wrapped in a protective cover to avoid further damage and then stored again.
Looking from the stage in the auditorium, you can see two of the final packed bundles to the left. To the right, just on the stage, are more scenic paintings waiting to be documented and even a lot more behind the black curtains behind Venice ...
