The Fahy Bridge is one of the crossroads between Southside and Historic downtown Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. And on this day it was used to cross over the Lehigh River as part of the course for the 20th Annual Morning Star Rotary 5K Run.

The large cluster of clouds moved in prior to the race start - and created the beautiful sunrise color behind the closed Bethlehem Steel blast furnaces.

Some of the runners are wearing kilts as the Celtic Classic - North America's largest highlands game and festival was another event being held this weekend in Bethlehem.

This run also was the subject for my September 2005 Energy panorama.

Equipment used: Nikon D200, Nikkor 10.5mm Nikon lens attached to a Nodal Ninja 3 atop a 12 foot (3.65 meter) pole!
