The dominating building is the ecumenical community center Mary Magdalene, which houses a catholic and a protestant sanctuary as well as a church hall and the offices of the two communities. The two sanctuaries adjoin the same foyer. The concrete walls which separate them from it can be moved aside, thus enlarging either of the sancturaries or providing one single room where ecumenical services can be held.
The panorama was made in cooperation with painter Beate Katz. We are both fascinated and inspired by this outstanding piece of architecture.
