County fairs are common during the summer and around harvest time throughout the United States. The basic theme of county fairs is sustenance in that they are places to display every aspect of growing, producing and processing all types of argicultural products.

The Frederick County Fair happened to be active during the photography period and was suggested to me as a subject. Until that time I had no idea what to photograph and considered passing the event. I took a series of 10 panoramas, three exterior of food vendors and seven at various points in the Farm and Garden Building where prize winning produce was on display. I chose to post the first one I took in the building showing blue ribbon apples. The other panoramas are displayed on my website at http://www.kwayneheil.com/Fair.htm.
