Excerpt from wikipedia:
Coffee contains caffeine, which acts as a stimulant. For this reason, it is often consumed in the morning, and during working hours.
Recent research has uncovered additional stimulating effects of coffee which are not related to the caffeine. Coffee contains an as yet unknown chemical agent which stimulates the production of cortisone and adrenaline, two stimulating hormones.
Caffeine's main pharmacological properties are: a stimulant action on the central nervous system with psychotropic effects and stimulation of respiration, a stimulation of the heart rate, and a mild diuretic effect.
The panorama shows my favorite coffee dealer the Mocca Club near Vienna's Naschmarkt. They offer over 45 freshly roasted single origin coffees and blends from all over the world.
It is not a typical Viennese Kaffeehaus, but is definitely the best place in Vienna to get a real good cup of coffee.
