The string of islands making up the "Western Isles" of Scotland, or Outer Hebrides, have a unique religious past, On the headland of Rubh' an Teampuill, are the ruins of a small late medieval chapel. A closer look from this aerial viewpoint indicates that next to the chapel (on the side farthest from the beach) are the faint remains of an Iron Age broch, which probably was used as raw material for the chapel. This is one of many simple religious building running the length of the island chain dating back to Christianity's arrival in Northern Europe. Later The Reformation reached, and was embraced, by the nothernmost islands, whilst the south remained almost untouched and Caholic, a situation that exists to this day

Equipment

4 GoPro HERO3+ cameras, with a wooden camera cradle/rig to hold the cameras in exactly the correct position is triggered by 4 custom designed camera syncronisers.

Suspended below a Dan Leigh Cruiser kite with 8ft/2.5m span.
This technique produces two hemispheres, and a different workflow in PTGui from the classic ground pano technique. This results in extra effort BUT impossible angles!
