We like to spend our summer holidays by the sea. This year we went by train and bus to Douarnenez, a little town in Finistere. Behind the pedestrian bridge is Port Rhu, only acessible at high tide. Opposite you see Ile Tristan, the island Tristan and Isolde spent some time on their trip from Ireland to Cornwall. Douarnenez is a great place to be on vacation, small sandy beaches within town, larger ones right next it, and the coastal path that goes all along the French coast continues from here to Pointe du Raz, the very end of the world.
