The Luftmuseum (Air Museum, website ) is a one of a kind museum, founded by private initiative in 2006 and celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. It showcases objects and installations that revolve around "air" in one way or the other, houses artist exhibitions and events and inspires regional art projects. It is a rather unique experience.
The propeller mounted to the wall is functional; visitors can drive it by operating the lever underneath, which uses a cylinder to create compressed air that is fuelled into the motor connected to the hub.
