The Great Race, 2012 edition is a cross country rally featuring Heritage vehicles. The race starts in Traverse City Michigan and ends in Dearborn Michigan USA. The vehicles travel around the Great Lakes of Huron, Ontario and Erie visiting 19 cities in the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and the province of Ontario, Canada

Over 90 entrants participate in a timed, controlled speed, endurance competition over scenic public highways and roads.

All vehicles are antiques, vintage or exotic cars, trucks and motorcycles with body and drive train built prior to 1969.
