Seen here are members of the IVRPA amid the throngs of people in Times Square. How many cameras can you spot and can you see the 'Naked Cowboy' in the background, maybe he's singing 'Angel Band' too.
This artifact of Virtual Heritage was taken during the NYC2012 Conference after a joyous evening, wining and dining at 'Carmines'. The conference was a truly international event, with a host of presenters from around the world, that lived up to the spirit of the IVRPA and WWP and the spirit that Pat Swovelin emboded.
As Pat wrote in guiding us on the topic of Heritage:
'Heritage is the living history that's all around us. It's what we see and do everyday that we don't give a second thought to yet, despite that, will become the heritage of the future that's yet to be...
Heritage refers to something inherited from the past. The word has several different senses, including:
•Cultural heritage, the legacy of physical artifacts and intangible attributes of a group or society.
•Virtual Heritage, an ICT work dealing with cultural heritage.'
