Beijing Anti-Cancer Club is an anti-cancer collective organization for cancer patients, which is guided and supervised by Beijing Red Cross. Originally established in January 1990, it was formally founded in January 1993 with the validation of Beijing Association for the Handicapped, and was validated by Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau, as a body cooperation in October 2003. Up to January 2008, the time of its 15th foundation anniversary, this Club, from the single original one — BaYi Lake Anti-Cancer Club, had developed into a new organization composed of 16 subordinate Clubs scattering in the city of Beijing, including more than 12,000 people as its registered members. The 16 subordinate Club consisted of Summer Palace Club, North Sea Club, Tienongke Club, Heaven Temple Club, Earth Temple Club, Shijingshan Club, Fengtai Club, Xuanwu Club, Tuanjie Lake Club, YueXiu Club, Yuxin Club, Wangjing Club, Wan Yuan Road Club, Red-Scarf Club and Taoran Pavilion Club.
