In the panorama you can see a theatre stage that is actually located within the lake. We now turn to the left. In the distance you can see the slope of the Black Forest. You can also see the white wooden tower of the Seepark. Further to the left there are the red wooden benches and tables of the Biergarten (beer garden). The traditional trees to be planted in a beer garden are chestnut trees. Since there were only a few hours without rain on that day, the beer garden had not opened up and I could not get a freshly draughted beer there – quite a pity. The long curved building in the panorama is the Bürgerhaus Seepark, our community center. In its large hall all kinds of events take place: concerts, talks, cabaret, political meetings, exhibitions, meetings of different local societies, etc. There is also a restaurant in the Bürgerhaus. You can see the restaurant's garden with ist red sunshades. A bit further to the left you can see the part of the lake where kids feed the ducks and play with their remote-controlled boats – you can also rent pedal boats at the lake. The little red tower is the so called "Tempelchen" (little temple) that is built from the local red sandstone of which our famous cathedral, the "Münster" is also built of.
