This was shot inside the branches of a 'False Acacia' tree (Robina, Black Locust) in my garden, in the heat of midday. The pale green leaves glow with the transmitted sunlight, and a cat lies happily in the shade near our feet. The sun is hot and the garden is getting dry, but the tree provides a cool space.

Equipment

Shot using a Nikon D70 fitted with a Nikkor 10.5mm lens, mounted on a 360 Precision pano head. The lens was stopped down to f22 to get as much depth of field as possible, as objects were as near as two or three inches from the lens.
