Designed by Didier Spade (Seine Alliance), and built by shipyard Vandenbossche, la Perle Noire de Paris is a 22-meter-long electric boat that can accommodate around 50 passengers. Powered by three ultra-quiet outboard motors recharged by solar panels and cold ironing, it aims to advance the energy transition of river fleets. La Perle Noire will be sailing on Paris's most beautiful avenue, the Seine, in the next coming months. Her launch is scheduled to coincide with the 2024 Summer Olympics, which will take place from July 26 to August 11.
