The archaeological site of the Rábita Califal of the Dunes of Guardamar del Segura (Alicante, Spain) dates from century X. It is in the right margin of the mouth of the Segura river, one kilometer to the north of Guardamar del Segura, in the highest part of the coastal strand of dunes, stretching from La Marina to Torrevieja.

1,100 years ago concrete was not used to build these buildings, but nowadays they are surrounded by modern buildings.
