Ye´ll take the low road but I´ll take the high road!

When discussing the motto "Paths" in our family council, it was my daughter who eventually came up with the location of my panorama for this event.

We are living close to a park which was transformed from an old gravel plant for a country-wide garden-show in 1986. The gravel pit itself was flooded and is by now known as the Lake Flückiger, named after the former owners of the plant.

On the Northern bank of the lake the gardeners have thrown up wee ground-waves and sown a lawn. Also, the gardeners have built a proper track winding through these tiny ground-waves. This track is quite level—for children playing in the park it is really horribly BORING. So they and some mountain (cross-country, rather!) bikers came up with the obvious idea:

Ye´ll take the low road but I´ll take the high road!

The resulting path that is connecting the tops of the waves is a fairly nice example for wheel-made erosion.
