Also visible is Cape May Point Lighthouse, built in 1859 and restored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts. It is open to the public, but unfortunately not at sunrise in March! The setting moon can be seen down the beach, directly opposite the sun. The structure on the beach to the right of the sun is the remains of a concrete fortification built during World War 2 as part of a coastal defense system that was never needed.
Hope you enjoy this panorama!
