In 1097 the Benedictines founded the Monastery of "S. Michele Arcangelo". In 1462 the Monastery became Abbey of the "Canonici Regolari di S. Salvatore" In 1502 they finished the Church planned by Lorenzo da Bologna. In 1783 the Abbey was cancelled.

The rest of the ancient Abbey is the Church and this fields closed into a wall. Now I'm sad, because the wall is falling down.
