I was driving along looking for a small country store when I came upon "The Stonehouse of Campbellville" The Stonehouse owned by the Singleton family is a retail store which opened in 1976 selling leaded antique stained glass. Most of their windows are imported from England and are both secular and religious glass. They have a website with lots of information at www.thestonehouse.ca regarding all aspects of antique stained glass.On the ceiling are examples of the "cartoons" that artists used to create such windows. Inside the store they have a special "light room", which had an amazing light coming through these beautiful windows.
Equipment
A Fuji S2 with a Nikon 20mm 2.8 was used on a Kaidan Kiwi+ pano head. The panorama was stitched together with RealViz Stitcher V4.
Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
This panorama was shot with available light at 1 second @ f 8.0 in Raw mode on the Fuji S2 with a manual focus 20mm Nikkor prime lense. I used a Kaidan Kiwi+ pano head and made a series of 18 scenes or photographs. I processed all the images in the RAW conversion software Capture One Pro V3.6 from Phase. This software allows me to set the white point balance, drop the contrast, adjust the colour saturation, and fine tune the exposures before I create pixels. This process allows for a better workflow and cleaner files then correcting in PhotoShop. The images are then stiched together in RealViz Stitcher and the QuickTime panoramas are then converted from the flat tiff images.
