In this area wild daffodils are just everywhere. Covering large open fields in swathes of yellow and providing very welcome areas of colour at the side of roads and motorways. I should really try to visit here more than just once a year, but it's really the flowers that keep me coming back.I stepped well off the path to put myself in the middle of the daffodils, they really brighten things up at this time of year when the majority of things are just shades of brown.

Equipment
Taken with a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G fisheye lens. Mounted on a Nodal Ninja 5 panorama head and R-D16 Rotator atop a Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod. Shots taken at 6 positions 60° apart, tilted 15° down and another shot taken looking straight up. Raw files then processed in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 before being stitched together using PTGui Pro 9.0 and converted using Pano2VR 3.0.
