
Middle Gorge of the Wutach

The panorama had been taken in the middle of summer when the water level of the Wutach was extremely low. But even at such times the Wutach can be a dangerous, even fierce river. This is demonstrated by the old “Rümmele”-footbridge from 1904 that was destroyed by severe flooding. Some meters upstream you can now securely cross the Wutach via a new footbridge.
