One of the routes along this reserve goes next to El Pinet Beach where you may walk across a sand dune ecosystem made of fixed and moving dunes.
Pine trees play an important role in this ecosystem, not only do they help with fixing of dunes but also serve as food and shelter to a large variety of other animal spices.
If you look for the spot, and just a few yards away from the beach, you may get yourself in the middle of an evergreen pine tree Mediterranean forest.
