"Photographers are waiting for the perfect wave"
Camogli is a typical seaside village of the Ligurian Riviera (Italy), located on the west side of the Portofino promontory. One of the most important architectural aspects of the village are the colored buildings on the seafront; the lighter horizontal bands called "marcapiano" (stringcourse) were used by sailors to more easily recognize their home between the various floors of the buildings. Camogli is also a location chosen by many photographers who portray it both day and night and in this panorama you can see some of them shooting at the waves crashing against the church.

To create this panorama a tripod with pole was used, so the camera is placed at a height of about 3.5 meters from the paving; the shutter is then operated with a radio remote control, while the pole, equipped with a rotator, is manually rotated 3 times to obtain a total of 4 shots around. The tripod was then moved to the side and, after tilting the camera downward, another photo was taken to mask the tripod during the 5 images stitching process performed by the PtGui Pro software.
