There are many Ko in Tokyo. Especially this community in Kiyose, Tokyo holds big bonfire festival at every September 1. Around 9 o'clock in the afternoon, they come down from the top of small Fuji through winding path that is Illuminated 108 candles and set fire on hay stack at the mountain foot. The members dance around the bonfire and pray that the volcano will not erupt.
After the bonfire burned down, many spectators take straw ash home as some talisman.
