Our Texas Live Oak tree is a great place for wild critters like Doves, Blue Jays, Mocking Birds, Black Ravens, Crows and playful Fox Squirrels to play. I have never climbed up into our Texas Live Oak. I have always wondered what the wild critters saw from up there.

So I put our Ricoh Theta S on the end of our Agnos fiberglass telescoping pole and extended high into the tree. The Theta S was positioned at about 15 feet (5 meters).

Now you too may see.

The Texas Live Oak is an "Evergreen" meaning it never drops its leaves. Stays green all year. Acorns drop in the Fall. The Fox Squirrels gather about half for the Winter. Well that is what they say but my experience taught me that it does exfoliate and re - populates it leaves all in 1 Spring week. The remaining Acorns stay on the ground. When walking on the grass they feel like round marbles.
