Feliz Año 2012
The city of Santa Ana de Coro is one of the oldest cities in Venezuela. Founded in 1527 by Juan de Ampíes, today it still retains much of its history. Indeed, in the old colonial town you can see many of the buildings of the era, which has earned the Coro and its port, La Vela de Coro, being named by UNESCO as a "Cultural Patrimony of Humanity" in 1993. The picture was taken during my vacation in August 2011 and serves well to close the call for this year.
Happy Year 2012.
