Moon Halo

Somebody came from the front yard and shouted: Hey! Hurry come out and have a look at the moon!

We all rushed out and got stunned by the glory of this halo. I had never seen one yet. Neither had any of our visiting friends who were in my home relaxing after a good dinner. It was so peaceful but so scary at the same time: nature in all its full beauty and power. We could also guess a kind of faint colored bow on the edge of the circle. Ohs! and Ahs! and Whouaous! Why don't you shoot pictures?

To record the special natural event, I rushed back in the house and got the camera and tripod set and ready in a few seconds and began to shoot like if the halo would disappear in a few seconds.

When I came back 15 minutes later to make a second better attempt there was no more ring: The moon, just the moon and some light clouds. As usual. Magic had gone away. The cat was still there watching the moon though.

While this meteorological phenomenon is said to be quite common, I could not find and view another 360x180 panorama of a true and full "22deg Moon Halo" on the web. Could this be the first? In any case it's my first one;-)
