Nestled in the central Cascade Range of Oregon, the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest is a living laboratory that provides unparalleled opportunities for the study of forest and stream ecosystems. Since 1980, as a part of the National Science Foundation Long Term Ecological Research (NSF-LTER) program, the Andrews Experimental Forest has become a leader in the analysis of forest and stream ecosystem dynamics.This VR was photographed while the sky was darkened by forest fire smoke blowing in from forest fires.

Nikon D70s with a Nikkor 10.5 fisheye lens, Kaidan quick-level on a ball head, tripod.Moved onto iMac using iPhoto to organize images, PTGui to stitch, Photoshop (CS3 and CS4) to edit the images and Cubic Converter for the final product.
