The Mundenhof is a former farm know acting as a zoo, nature park and animal sanctuary. It specializes in companion animals from throughout the world, most of them held in large paddocks.

They have a couple of events each year one of which is the summer solstice fire. Throughout the year they pile up spare wood from the surrounding forest in a huge heap which is lit with torches by a group of children after solstice sunset. Drumming and music, theater and singing accompany this event.
