An end to a wonderful trip, this classic view of Yosemite Valley appears on your left as you're driving out of the valley.

The large pull-out gives you plenty of opportunity to pause to enjoy it, however in this busy world how many people hurriedly continue?

------

In view left to right as you look out:

Ribbon Fall – A seasonal fall that stops flowing by the end of summer. Tallest single water drop in the park, 1612 feet.

El Capitan – BIG ROCK! Lots of rock climbers on it.

Half Dome – hidden behind the clump of trees in the middle of the valley.

Sentinel Rock – barely visible to the right of the clump of trees.

Lower, Middle, and Upper Cathedral Rocks with Bridalveil Fall below them.

Leaning Tower – in view in the extreme upper right of the window.

Merced River – flowing left to right in the foreground.

------

In view if you pan to the left is the actual pullout with one of the valleys open air tour trams loading up after stopping for the tourists.

Sitting on the ground are my shoes that I had taken off so they wouldn’t' get wet when I waded out to the rock I'm standing on while I'm taking this shot.
