On a beautiful October afternoon, I decided to go for a local flight to the northwest of London, Ontario (CYXU) in a Diamond Aircraft Katana DA-20 C1. This aircraft is one of several very well equipped airplanes that belong to Empire Aviation, of London, Ontario. http://www.empireaviation.com/

This was a difficult pano to shoot. It took several attempts over a period of two weeks before I had the relatively clear skies and smooth air needed to get this one.

Canon 20D with 8mm Sigma lens. Custom aluminium, CNC-machined, and hard-anodized 4 shot panoramic head. Manfrotto 055MF4 Carbon Fiber Tripod, and Acratech Ultimate Ballhead with Really Right Stuff camera plates.
