In March of 2005 the WWP theme of Marketplace brought me to Kekaulike Mall, a bustling pedestrian-only street at the heart of Chinatown in Honolulu. I went back to the same spot for the 20-Years theme, a few months shy of an actual 20 years. The mall had been recently improved with new drainage and walkway, as well as trees and lamps. My original panorama reveals what's changed and what's stayed the same. The hair salon space became a seafood market and got a new door, but neighboring Chi Kong Look Funn Factory still has the same hanging sign over the entrance. Also, the dragon decal from the intersection at King Street has been moved to the center of this block.
