Eighteen years after the WWP 'Gardens' theme in 2006 I had hoped to see a taller version of the talipot palm I submitted. Unfortunately, it had bloomed and died four years earlier. See the 2006 palm here.

Fortunately, a new talipot had been planted a few steps away, and it's thriving. Curiously, some stems on this specimen have a golden-yellow color which I've never seen before.
