The Vat is a giant glacial pothole located in the Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve near Aboyne, Scotland.

The huge bowl-shaped granite cauldron was carved by debris and glacial meltwater, forced into a whirlpool motion during the last Ice Age approximately 20,000 years ago. The top section of the pothole is visible, while the base is filled with rock sediment to a depth of several metres.

The Vat is a popular tourist attraction and its narrow entrance is reached by a path from the nearby Burn o' Vat Visitor Centre.
