That's one of my favorite places in France. The Lot department, and the magnificent medieval town of Figeac, the birthplace of Champollion, the discoverer of hieroglyphs. Here you can look up and discover magnificent medieval houses. Sit down on a terrace and enjoy a local red wine, why not an IGP Côtes du Lot from "La Vinadie" the local cooperative vineyard or a delicious Cahors AOC. And in the evening, you can enjoy one of the many local specialities in a restaurant.
