The village Caibarien was founded in the middle of the 19th century and achieved a certain local importance as a port and trading town. In September 2017 the city was hit by hurricane Irma. With sustained wind speeds of over 250 km/h, this was one of the strongest hurricanes ever recorded. The city was flooded and almost completely devastated. Until today, it has not been able to recover from it. - Sometimes I take many more pictures than needed for a spherical panorama. This gives me the possibility to design the panorama (in parts) according to my wishes. Of course, this takes patience and what happens is not always interesting. Here I was actually waiting for an old American road cruiser. But it did not come. After a good half hour, I had so many photos that it got ten different spherical panoramas. Three of them are here connected to a cylindrical pano. - Four of the ten spheres are on my project page: https://derpanoramafotograf.com/EN/projects/kuba.php in a much higher resolution.
