The End of the Road. Not only the physical end of the road, but the end of the road for the Ninian Northern platform which will be decommissioned here in Shetland. Oil is the prime mover for almost all forms of transport, and the contrail of the jet arcing through the sky is an example of oil fuelled transport in action. The sun, the tide and the wind turbine explore new energy resources which will revolutionise transport in years to come.
