Proud of its Western heritage, the town of Cave Creek attracted settlers in the 1870s who were looking for peace and solitude. This replica Frontier Town is typical of what you can expect to find as Cave Creek has managed to preserved its wild west character for more than 100 years. Cave Creek is located northeast of Phoenix in the foothills of Black Mountain. Most of the original buildings are gone but many that are still standing have been around longer than anyone can remember. A popular tourist attraction the town today is filled with unique shops, saloons and restaurants.
