Saved from a ruin in such a context of modernism madness.

Al Fahidi Fort was built in 1787 and is the oldest existing building in Dubai city.

Dubai Museum which is inside the fort, was opened in 1971: it is a showcase for the traditional way of life in the Emirate of Dubai, for archeology and local history.

This panorama was shot during a 6 hours stop-over in Dubai International Airport on the flight back from Asia.
