We are at the town of Burjassot, 6km away from the city of Valencia, on this special square named "Los Silos". At this place were built from 1573 to 1806 forty three big silos, in order to store wheat for Valencia.

During those times, Valencia lacked this kind of grain and needed to import it, but corsairs and weather made for a necessity to store it for longs periods of time in a fresh place.

Inside the panorama now we can see along the square only the stone caps to seal the silos (with rings to chains up them).

Today they are out of service and the square is a place for cultural events at this town.
