Man shall not live by bread alone... a little cheese would be nice as well! How about over 670 named cheeses around the world? Makes me glad I'm not lactose intolerant.

But is cheese a necessity? For many around the world, it is a necessity for making a living. Plus, if you live where refrigeration isn't available, cheese is a way of storing milk, sometimes for as long as two years. So, maybe in some places, it really is a necessity.
